DUBAILAND® project was officially announced on October 23rd, 2003 by Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It Built on a 3 billion square feet DUBAILAND® will inevitably be an attractive place to ‘live, work and Play’ for the Emirate’s growing population. An attractive environment is essential for a leisure and tourism destination and an appropriate setting for business and entertainment development. To date there are 22 projects under development on a land area of 320 million sq,ft, some of the DUBAILAND® projects are operated already like the Dubai Autodrome ( Motor City), Dubai Heritage vision ( Al Sahra Resort- Jumna Show), Plantation, Dubai Outlet Mall & Global Village.
